The book I’m reading hasn’t caught my attention so Grace recently had a book come out. Now I kinda want to do a chronological reread of the series. We start with the virgins series prequel.

Ah yes it’s 1885. We are also in the Montana territory.

So, I never get to find out what trials Elizabeth puts Thorn through before he claims her. Also it would have been kinda cool if we got her reaction to going to another planet. I know in dream sharing they can only do what they’ve done in the real world. Since she’d been married they could go all the way. However, in the other virgins books they claim in the order of three. Maddox definitely didn’t do that. He never even took her mouth or ass. So that’s a bit confusing. Overall still a decent read.

Series: The Dragon Realm #1-4

This is a box set with all four books in the series. I read book one like 5 years ago. I don’t remember what happened and can’t tell how interconnected they are so I’m going to reread the first one. I’m also doing this as one entry since I’ve had a lot of short entires and I want a longer on lol.

Chosen by the Dragon: Lucy gets taken by the king of the dragon realm to provide him an heir. He’s not a nice guy and his bodyguard has fallen for Lucy. He’s gonna be her knight in shining armor and they’ll fall madly in love, obviously.

I’m really liking her trying to explain bdsm to Amos. It’s quite entertaining.

Well that’s exciting. The oracle is working for the rebel alliance trying to overthrow the king. They are also about to kidnap one of the kings wives. It also allows Amos and Lucy a chance to escape.

Aww. That was a good refresher because I really didn’t remember much of that. Also it seems the epilogue set up the next part nicely. We are going in search of an attractive dark haired man.

The Dragons Touch: Zara’s turn. So we apparently skip four years since she’s about to come over to the realm if she’s to be a mate. She’s gonna end up with Solar, I’m pretty sure. She’s also scared the king.

Oh my. Well Zara and Solar are mates and they have a baby on the way. We at least injured the evil king dude. Which I guess ok since there are still two more books in the series so we can’t resolve everything yet. We had more hints of the mysterious human dude again in the epilogue. Also, does the oracle get a mate too? Is that who was taunting him in his dream?

Dragon’s Desire: it’s the oracles turn to find love also find the dude in his visions from the human realm that will help defeat the evil king.

Hmm this all seems very convenient. His car breaks down and she almost hits him. He joins them on the beach and she runs into another mom from school who’s kids are friends with her son. I’m not sure about this one yet.

I guess that was ok. I don’t know about that ending though. Only one more book left. I don’t know if I want to start it today though.

Dragon’s Passion: last one. So we got a preview in the last epilogue. The mystery guy we’ve been searching for turns out to be O’s older brother and heir to the dragon realm throne. He also is in love with a stripper who he protects as part of his job in the human realm. I hope we actually defeat the evil king dude in this one.

Well yes there is a beast inside you. A dragon to be precise. I’m surprised you don’t know what you are.

Oh girl don’t do this. I’m really not getting a good feeling about this guy who’s willing to pay ten grand for a private dance and you taking it really just to spite Idris.

Tact, yeah some people just don’t have that. Also, not sure how tactfully your can tell someone they’re a dragon.

And could we have made that any more clear. Why yes you are a king and she’ll be your queen.

Ok we’ve made it to the dragon realm. You shifted. Then you claimed your mate. Yeah we still need to defeat the evil dude but I feel pretty much done and I’m not sure why I still have half the book left.

How is there still another chapter? We epically killed the false king. Everyone admitted love and is safe. What more could happen?

Hmm Ike and baby Ruby will end up together. He’s a bit older than her though isn’t he?

Hmm I don’t know I guess toward the end it was just sorta reading to finish the set. I liked the first book though. The story just started to sorta drag.

Series: Planet Valhalla #2

This is Sven’s story. Also I think they get to go back to their home planet. It sounded interesting in the little preview at the end of book one. Also one of the reviews said this one had more sex than book one which I need to know how that is possible.

I like how this room’s history has just now changed. Last book it was where the consorts waited for their kings pleasure. Now it’s where the woman reminded their men of their duties.

Well I don’t think that had more sex than the first one. I did get a bit tired of their back and forth and misunderstandings. Then I thought changing the use of the room was kinda a joke at first but then the king kept it going so maybe it was just a continuity issue. Meh. I know I’m not going to read book three. Just the summary doesn’t appeal to me.

I’ve got several in process books/series that aren’t holding my attention at the moment. I’m trying something new to break things up. This one our girl crash lands on another planet. Then spends her recuperation being pleasured by three men. Then the king says she needs to have his baby to save his planet. Yep sure sounds legit.

Um wow. I’m pretty sure if I were him I’d punish that village. I get they want to be honored by their woman bearing his child but to drug him and have her rape him like that. Hmm. Not a great start.

Not sure how I feel about English becoming the single common language amongst all of space. I think that’s a bit elitist to think that our language will prevail above all others.

I think she should tell him about her son. I think he’d understand.

Oh come on girl you are pregnant. Also we are sure that it’s Marcus’ since you haven’t had sex with anyone else. I think Lilian got pregnant and her village decided to take advantage.

Ooh yes let’s go find out you’re pregnant without Sven there to report it. Yes I’m all for this.

I’m not sure I’m satisfied with that ending. I did like it though. It was kinda obvious that the kid wasn’t the king’s but I thought it was her village pressuring her to lie. Instead it was kinda her. Then we went to earth because his planet is apparently toxic and that’s why they fertility issues. I don’t know I kinda want to read the next one though.

Our guy hosts a children’s show but apparently at some charity basketball thing for the network there’s a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. Now the new CEO has to navigate the press around this incident to keep him on the network.

Duh, come on what do you think they have pictures of. Y’all were making out in the hallway.

Well that was dumb dude. You are now sorta playing into the headlines with that move. Slinking out without telling her is not a good move on your part dude.

Good lord three weeks. Dude I would have written you off so hard you wouldn’t even get a chance to speak once you get your head out of your ass. Also what happened to Andy calling you?

Hmm. I don’t know how I felt about that one. I guess it was well developed for how short it was. I didn’t like the misogynistic board she worked for that fired her after like a week of being CEO. Then the huge time skip to the epilogue. Granted I needed to epilogue to get closure, but geez give a girl whiplash.

This one apparently has the test of courage challenge thing that the class sorta fails at. Not sure which other stories it has though.

I’m really curious how they made these last twenty minutes or whatever. When I read them the episodes seem so short. This was in the show where the whole class is designated cowards because the black arts club participated.

Tamaki kinda grows on you. Like here this flashback to Kyoya and Tamaki meeting and becoming friends. It’s like he seems so totally out of touch but can be insightful when he wants to be.

I like this one with Kasanoda wanting to have friends and be less terrifying. I’m surprised it’s taking more than one episode though. I thought it was only one episode in the show.

Yep one of his guys is from another family and that family retaliated. Then Kasanoda figures out that Haruhi’s a girl. End episode. Lol.

Oh course he’s falling in love with Haruhi. Everyone is in love with her.

Hahaha. So Haruhi is just blind to everything going on around her, Tamaki is too foolish to realize what his feelings are, then Kyoya or Kaoru is also in love with Haurhi and doesn’t know it. Apparently Hunny and Mori are the only enlightened ones of the group. Lol. Well that rounds out this volume with pretty much all of it being in the show.

Next in the series. Wesley’s turn. He’s gone to Bath to assist his mother with his willful ward. I’m sure there will be lots of punishment. Also, he marries her. Then we have Elenor and Edwin who now know they love the other but haven’t told the other yet. I’m hoping someone gets pregnant in this one.

Edwin that reaction may have been a bit harsh. When she became exploratory in the bedroom you accuse her of having relations with another man.

Now will Edwin tell Wesley what his wife learned from Wesley’s ward?

Goodness she knows a lot of good kissers. I wonder if she knows any bad kissers. So far she only mentions the good ones. I bet the Earl’s kisses will put all of the previous ones to shame.

Good lord it’s like we get one thing settled and something else comes up. Wesley ish proposes, at least he declares that he’s marrying Cynthia, then we find out Elenor is pregnant and is hiding it in fear that Edwin will notice and stay with her out of obligation instead of love.

And he already knows. Hmm how does he know?

I feel like that was mostly about the other couples but it was alright. I’m interested to see what drove the Brooke’s apart which I’ll get in the next book.

This box set was discounted so I get the whole series for like a buck. In book one Elenor was forced to marry Edwin, but discovered he might not have been what she was looking for but might just be what she needs. Ok so the ending of book one wasn’t the best. Edwin thinks his marriage is great and Elenor is freaking out that she’s fallen in love with her husband. Then you had Hugh’s betrothed that’s in love with a married man. Oh good looks like both girls will figure things out in this book.

Wow Irene’s mother is a bitch. Calling her a whore at her wedding. Goodness. I can already tell she’s had a great upbringing with a really healthy relationship with her mom. Yeah not.

Of course it’s nothing like your mother told you. She’s an icy hag who doesn’t have an once of passion. Also, ton mothers are highly incompetent when educating their daughters in the marriage acts.

You didn’t give her what she wanted you ninny. She wants your love and she needs the words and reassurance which you didn’t give her.

Um chica I’m not sure this is the best idea. If you don’t get hurt your gonna get an epic spanking. You shouldn’t disobey your husband. Even if you do mean to be unfaithful once you’ve provided the necessary heir.

Hahaha. Less information please. I would imagine so. You don’t want to hear about your sister’s sexual escapades.

Uh oh. Um welcome home. All the husbands are currently in residence and were not included in this particular plan. As they wouldn’t be since the wives want space from said husbands.

Oh good so Hugh and Irene are in love and happy. Edwin and Elenor have both discovered their love for one another now they just need to admit it to each other.

I enjoyed the end but we still have a lot of relationship stuff to work out with like every couple. I think I’ll move right along to the next book to find out more about this harridan that’s Wesley’s ward.

I just can’t help it I have to keep going. This is Brenna’s story. I don’t think Mac will be her daddy but definitely her Dom. I have liked her in the other books. I think she needs someone older and experienced to take her in hand and that she can trust. Mac just needs to get away from his toxic ex-wife.

Aww Brenna. You could have told him it wasn’t working for you anymore and I’m sure he would have ended the scene if you weren’t enjoying it.

Yes! Brenna has feels for the hunky older guy that used to be Daddy Logan’s master chief. I’m on board.

Hahaha. That’s such a great picture. Emily can’t leave anything that’s hurting, so Brenna has been adopted until she’s through this rough patch.

Brenna don’t start the chapter like that. It leads to it should be great but it isn’t. What has happened since y’all went to bed.

Woah! Really! Ok I know this is like supposed to be horrible or whatever, but his daughter isn’t his daughter. His wife cheated on him with his base commander.

I kinda like Ruby. Maybe she’ll get a story one day. I know she’s currently a professional but she can’t do that forever and maybe she just needs the right man to bring her around.

I really like the mind reading Dom bits. It sounds so nice and something I think I want. I may be figuring out how to train as a submissive in the future.

This is why we still have so much book left. We have to have the vandalism escalate then we can squash it and make everyone safe again.

Wait, what?! Why does Mac feel it’s wrong to tell Bren he loves her.

That one wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t really like the ending. It felt like we were kinda like oh this has gone on too long, quick resolve everything in the next two paragraphs. Still not sure why that other tattoo artist had it out for her. There were also good chunks where we seemed to just leave that behind almost like it wasn’t happening. I don’t know maybe it was that he wasn’t a daddy but I liked their relationship so I don’t think that was it. Meh. I still enjoyed it but the others I enjoyed more.

Back over here because I need more daddy Dom in my life right now. This sounds way darker than I thought it would be. I thought this was just helping Max see that he’s a daddy and setting him up with one of the unattached littles but sounds like he’s in trouble.

Oh no Max, I don’t like where that is going. You didn’t like what uncle Greg did after he gave you candy. Everything I come up with is bad things that an uncle shouldn’t do and a little kid shouldn’t know about.

I think this is what I like about this author. The language she uses. It’s so very educated. It’s almost like she says I’m smart and highly educated and you need to catch up slacker. It doesn’t come across as if she took a word and used a thesaurus to find the most pretentious word.

Lol. Um no don’t call the crazy psycho ex SAS officer who lives off grid to come help if my life goes sideways. Call the cops you crazy little shit. lol. I can’t.

Woah. That’s what he had over Miranda. That’s deep shit. Wow, she essentially killed her step brother. I see why the court gave him custody.

Max you’re being a bit judgmental right now. You don’t have any right to keep him away from the littles. You’ve been through a lot in your life and this is filling a hole for you. You don’t know what his life has been like so you don’t know it may help him too.

Um. So I know you don’t make it to the collaring. I wonder what’s gonna happen between now and then that prevents them from going to the collaring.

I like that De Leon has noticed his breathing when he lies vs when he tells the truth. I think he’d make a very attentive Dom. He’d notice all the little nuances that a sub gives off.

Ok I didn’t see it being the nerdy professor dude. That was a twist.

Yeah this sounds shady. It shouldn’t have been that easy to hack into their system. I think you’re still being set up. Be careful Max.

Wow her brother is an asshole. She has a fiancé she doesn’t want which I bet ya Jun set up. Then he rearranges the party so said awful fiancé can make it and blames the changes on her. Totally a dick.

This was great. Also now I really want a De Leon story of him finding his daddy-ness. I can’t quite put my finger on it for these books but they’ve really captivated me. I enjoy the depth of the characters, the stories, it’s just really great all around.
