Moving right along. Yelena has been confirmed as a soul finder which apparently have a bad rep. The power seems to drive them a bit crazy and they go a bit too far. Anyway people get a bit scared of her and the council has to decide her fate. While they are doing that a magician that she’s already defeated is rising against her homeland. Hmm would that be Zaltana land or Ixia? Hopefully she gets reunited with Valek by the end.

Demanding much? Moon man just sent her a note, “ I found what you seek. Come.” That’s it end of message. Lol

Well that’s encouraging. Having your story weaver tell you there’s no hope for you.

So how does Yelena make money. She’s bought cloth, and clothes and food but she doesn’t have a job and has kinda been on the run for awhile. How does she have money to pay for things?

That’s horrible but I mean most of them do kinda hate you so it might be nice if he kills the council. It would put the kingdom in turmoil though and provide an opening for Cahil to take over.

Kiki is my spirit animal. It’s nap time, what about that snooze you had before I groomed you, that was the prenap. Lol yes

Finally done. We defeated the evil power hungry magicians and trapped their souls in glass animals. Yelena is reunited with Valek and both kingdoms are on their way to peace.

I know I’m slightly out of order but I was trying to find somewhere to buy these but it looks like they were only released as audiobooks and on her website. This is between book one and two. An assassin is after Yelena and doesn’t want her going home. Valek has to protect her.

Well that was interesting. It was from Valek’s point of view which was new. Also I now need to know what a jaydai quest is. Anyway this was good.

Moving right along. Yelena is fleeing Ixia to avoid an execution order. She’s hoping to be reunited with family and find where she fits in. Only Sitia is unfamiliar, and she’s treated like an enemy even by the long lost family she is meeting. She’s also having trouble controlling her powers. Let’s go.

Oh we have a map this time.

Oh her poor brother. He was with her when she was taken and he’s searched for her up until the day she came back. It’s so sweet and sad all at the same time.

Of course it isn’t your parents who are torturing and killing people on the plains. Come on one they’re your parents two that’s way to obvious.

She is a soul finder. I don’t exactly remember what that means.

I’ve been reading and curare has sounded familiar like it was in another book I read, but I can’t remember and it’s bugging me.

Of course he wasn’t going to come at you directly. Geez. Of course he’s gonna use Opal to drug you.

And we leave tons of unanswered questions. Cahil is not royal but now bent to kill Valek and Yelena. Yelena is the liaison for Ixia but has to finish her magical training first so she’s back at the Citadel to complete that. Valek is still protecting the Commander so they are still separated. Oh and we’ve confirmed she’s a soul finder.

Trilogy one of Ixia. Yelena is about to be executed for murdered and is offered another option. She can either be executed or become the food taster for the commander of Ixia. Of course it’s not going to be that easy. Disasters keep coming and she develops powers she can’t control. I’ve read this before but it’s been like six years so I don’t know if I’ll remember much.

Well Reyad was a dick and deserved to die. I can’t remember but I feel like it went beyond the tests and whippings. Then I don’t remember why Margg dislikes her so much.

Aww aren’t they cute. Finishing each other’s sentences. I wish I remembered more about this book.

Ok was that just a hallucination or is the Commander really a girl. I can’t remember and it’s so frustrating.

Duh. Have we learned nothing. Mo whatever is the evil mage dude that’s currently in the castle. Grr. Come on girl you’ve got magic too figure it out. Following him is a bad idea.

Well we killed the evil magician that had been in the kingdom for over ten years planning to take over. Everyone is ok. The commander is female but pretending to be male because that’s what he associates with. He’s back in control of himself, but because Yelena has magic he signed her death warrant. Valek has refused to carry it out. She’s currently heading to the south kingdom with others with magic to reach safety, find her family and train to use her powers. Valek and Yelena are in love and have promised to find each other again.
